An exquisite antique Georgian snake collar from the early 19^th Century made up of three different shades of brown hair plaited beautifully to create one thick band.

The piece is finished with a fabulous 18ct gold snake head and tail which forms a hook clasp. Both sections feature beautiful, engraved detailing and the head is crowned with a clear rock crystal window that showcases plaited hair underneath as well.

A fascinating piece of history and beautifully preserved.
